El-Mor laid the 161 KV cables connecting the 240MW combined cycle power plant at the Dead Sea Works to its HV substation.

The project consisted of the following work:

  • Designing and building an aboveground infrastructure bridge for carrying the HV cables
  • Designing and installing unique 2,000-meter long cable metal ladders for the project
  • Laying 6 kilometers of 161 KV cable on the infrastructure bridge
  • Performing HV joint (mufas) connections
  • Connecting HV cable-end seals
  • Inspection and commissioning
  • Designing and installing a designated cable protection cover
